This course will support pastors and ministers to properly make application of scripture for the unique care of people. Students will enhance their biblical knowledge and learn techniques in counseling that will support the ministry of spiritual counseling.
This first course will equip church leaders with the skills and understanding to apply a biblical model of counseling for themselves and others. The course includes readings and response papers, a scriptural case study, applications of the model to three personal life vignettes or brief experiences, and a ministry project in which students teach and illustrate the model in their church context.
